HEMS Cloud Staff QA Engineer

• The Enphase cloud team is looking for aSDETfor itssoftware products. In this role, you will work with product managers, business owners and developers to assess the quality ofsoftware productsat par with best-in-class solutions in the market.
• You willberesponsible foranalyzing and making recommendations for improving the quality of our cloud services and applications across our ecosystem.
• You will be involved in every part of the product cycle, from high-level design to development and validation.

What you will do:

• Own the completeE2Equality ownership of thesystem under test
• Able to design test cases that are of high quality which helps improving quality of thesystem
• Help team to design good test cases, review their work and give feedback
• Addmanual andautomated tests onAPIs,databaseand UI layer
• Be the gate keeper on the quality of the product
• Define, write, and execute non-functional tests and analyzeresults.
• Debug the issues and help developers to design the bestsoftware product.
• Drive quality metrics on system under test,be responsible forquality of the system.
• Analyse the tests, progress of the tests and report to the management on the quality of the system onday-to-daybasis
• Improvise the test case designs, negative tests, repeatability tests, data validation,impactand risk-based testing.
• Able to work on agile, early to market without any compromise on quality
• Able toidentifydifferentintegrationpointswith downstream and upstreamapplications anddesign teststo cover them.

Who you are and what you bring:

• BE/BTech in Computer science Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in software development/testing
• 5+ years of experience testinghigh scale applications withdistributed architecture
• Excellent programming skills and ability to debug issues at the code level, development experience isan addedadvantage.
• Experience in negative testing
• Provide out of box solution to deliver quality in a fast-paced developmentorganization.
• Strong understanding of cloud, databases, and performance tradeoffs.
• Go-getterattitude and capable of pursuing tough engineering challenges to finalsolutions.

• Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning are a plus.
