Helper Cook

Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and reliable Helper Cooks to join our culinary team. We have openings for both part-time and full-time positions. The ideal candidates will assist with various food preparation tasks, including marinating, washing, cutting, and frying foods. This role is crucial in ensuring that our kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: 1. Food Preparation: - Marinate various types of food according to established recipes and guidelines. - Wash, peel, and chop vegetables as needed. - Cut meats, poultry, and fish into portions as required for recipes. - Main Work will be Assisting in preparing ingredients for cooking, including measuring and mixing ingredients. 2. Cooking Assistance: - Fry foods in correct temperature and ensure they are cooked to perfection. - Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality. - Assist with other cooking tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager. 3. **Kitchen Maintenance:** - Maintain a clean and organized work station. - Follow all sanitation and health regulations and adhere to safe work practices. - Assist in cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas. 4. **Inventory Management:** - Assist with inventory control by properly storing food items and supplies. - Notify the kitchen manager of any shortages or issues with ingredients or supplies. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred. - Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items. Working Conditions: - Must be able to work in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and noise. - Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, may be required. - **Part-Time Position:** - Hours: 4.5 hours per day - Salary: 4,500 - **Full-Time Position:** - Hours: 8 hours per day - Salary: 9,000 Incentives: Upto ₹2,000 Interested candidates should submit their resume and a brief cover letter detailing their relevant experience.
