Heavy Vehicle Service Technician

Job Purpose: To carry out diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of commercial vehicles (trucks & buses) to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on trucks and buses as per OEM guidelines. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Carry out engine, transmission, brake, suspension, clutch, steering, and axle repairs. Ensure timely completion of service jobs while maintaining high quality standards. Maintain accurate service records and job cards. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workshop environment. Support senior technicians and workshop managers in major repair tasks. Stay updated with the latest technical bulletins, service manuals, and OEM training. Requirements: Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing and repair of commercial vehicles (trucks & buses). Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmission systems, braking, and electrical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and workshop equipment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work in workshop and field service environments.
