Heavy driver

The job involves frequent travel and managing outstation assignments, including the transportation of equipment using heavy vehicles. You will be responsible for operating company-assigned heavy vehicles such as trucks, vans, and transporters to ensure the safe delivery and movement of instruments and machinery. Proper loading, unloading, and securing of equipment during transit will be a key aspect of the role. Your duties will also include providing on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of instruments and robotic systems. Additionally, you will be required to conduct basic maintenance and checks on company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, and servicing of equipment at customer sites will be part of your responsibilities. It will be essential for you to maintain service and transport documentation, including logbooks, reports, and billing records. You will need to handle the site and equipment with care and professionalism throughout the process. Timely submission of invoices and updating billing status in coordination with clients will also be expected from you. Furthermore, you may be required to assist in basic workshop activities, such as assembly, welding, and minor fabrication when needed. A valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License with a clean driving record is mandatory for this position. The job location is in Kozhikode, Kerala, and the basic qualification required is a Diploma/ITI or equivalent. This is a contractual/temporary job type, and the work location will be in person.
