As an Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation professional with a Bachelor's Degree or higher, you should have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in BMS/automation systems/IoT-based systems. Your expertise should include conducting detailed site surveys, preparing IO Summaries, BOQ, and scope estimation for BMS/Automation projects. Candidates with additional experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of BMS will be preferred. You should be well-versed in the installation and operation of field instruments such as DDC controllers, PLCs, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, flow meters, motorized control valves, instrumentation cables, VFDs, and control panels. Advanced knowledge in commissioning and operating VFDs, actuator valves, and related equipment is essential. Knowledge of systems like Chiller Plant Manager, Chillers, HVAC pumps, Cooling Tower, AHU, FCUs, TFAs, VRFs, VAVs, Heat Pumps, Energy Meters, Centralized and Decentralized Cooling Systems is preferred. Proficiency in computer skills including Web Search, Email, Word, Excel, and Power Point is required. Effective communication in English and the ability to make presentations to various audiences is a must. As part of your responsibilities, you will be required to identify the scope of IoT-BMS projects, prepare proposals with IO Summaries and BOQ, and explore innovative ways to save energy. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Engineer to join our Engineering team, with a specialized focus on component selection for chillers and heat pump systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in thermodynamics and HVAC design, with hands-on experience in selecting critical system components such as compressors, heat exchangers, valves, and controls. You will play a key role in ensuring our systems meet technical, regulatory, and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities: Select and size key HVAC components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, refrigerants, and controls for chillers and heat pumps. Prepare technical specifications, selection reports, and bills of materials (BOMs) in alignment with project requirements. Utilize HVAC design and selection software such as Bitzer, Unilab, or OEM-specific tools for simulations and performance calculations. Evaluate and validate component offerings from vendors and manufacturers to ensure compliance with engineering standards. Collaborate with R&D and product development teams during prototyping, testing, and validation phases. Ensure system design adheres to relevant standards (ASHRAE, AHRI, ISHRAE) and regulatory guidelines. Work closely with internal departments including sales, procurement, and production for end-to-end project execution. Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, including datasheets, manuals, and submittals.
