Key Responsibilities: · Customer Engagement and Solution Design: o Communicate with potential customers to understand their specific energy requirements and propose suitable solutions (solar PV systems, EV wall chargers, heat pumps, energy storage systems, solar heating systems). o Design customized energy solutions using proprietary software tools based on the customer’s needs and system specifications. o Provide expert guidance on the benefits, cost, and efficiency of different green energy solutions to customers. · Project Coordination: o Collaborate with vendors, surveyors, and installation contractors to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and according to the required standards. o Ensure that all installations are carried out in compliance with UK regulations, local laws, and industry standards. o Work closely with installation teams to make sure that systems are installed correctly and certified as per local certification requirements. o Oversee the completion of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. · Technical Expertise and Support: o Demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical aspects of solar PV, EV chargers, heat pumps, energy storage systems, and solar heating systems. o Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and internal teams. o Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in green energy technologies and incorporate them into solution designs. · Sales and Business Development: o Work closely with the sales team to identify and discuss energy solutions with prospects. o Assist in preparing technical proposals and presentations for prospective clients. o Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders. Required Qualifications and Skills: · Education: o Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (in Electrical, Mechanical). · Experience: o Minimum 2 years of experience in designing and implementing energy solutions or HVAC systems. o Hands-on experience working with energy systems such as solar PV, heat pumps, energy storage systems, and EV chargers. o Prior experience in the green energy or renewable energy sector is highly desirable. o Familiarity with UK standards and certifications for energy installations is a plus. · Skills and Competencies: o Strong technical knowledge of energy solutions, including electrical systems, heating systems, and energy storage. o Ability to design and customize energy solutions using specialized software tools. o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with high fluency in English. o Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, contractors, and vendors. o Customer focus, excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. o Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. o High level of curiosity and the ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies. Prior experience in public speaking or customer-facing roles. Outstanding spoken and written English communication skills. Confident, persuasive, and professional phone etiquette. Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical customers. Courteous, empathetic, and a strong team player. Highly organized, proactive, and a fast learner.
