Healthcare Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Healthcare Support worker within Theatre and Endoscopy.
Surgical Suite encompasses day case , elective general surgery, cataracts, oculoplastics, dentals, gynaecology, recovery and endoscopy.We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self motivated Individual to provide an efficient and high quality theatre service. This is an excellent opportunity to work within various specialities in a Rural General Hospital. The successful applicants will be good team players with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in this field of nursing.Experience within the peri-operative care setting is desirable. The successful candidates will be given the opportunity to increase their clinical skills to be able to provide and promote high standards of patient care. We would welcome applications from band 3 or Band 2 HCSW who have evidence of SCQF level 6 or equivalent training or experience who are seeking to build a career pathway in theatre services. There is affordable housing, newly built schools and recreational facilities.This is a permanent full-time 37 hour post, working Monday to Friday, shifts subject to service requirements, you may also have to cover overnight and weekend on-call rotation to cover sickness or leave, therefore the successful applicant will ideally need to be a car driver or be able attend hospital within 30 mins .Job share applicants and part time hours may be considered.
