Healthcare Executive - Call center support

Summary of Duties: Assessing Patient who are calling the call center line and TRIAGE them, if need to connect the On-call doctor. If not needed, book the appointment, or advise the patient for further action.

Flexibility to work in rotational shifts with Thursday and Friday off.

  • Directing patients to the appropriate person/department for further assistance
  • Maintaining clean and organized work space
  • Keeping current with office and department procedures
  • Participates in education activities and attends physicians staff meetings
  • Adheres to Employee Handbook
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
  • Available at customer required timings for meetings when working offshore, including odd hours.

Skills / Attributes Required

  • Extensive Medical knowledge
  • Worked as a Nurse in the ER department or Hospital
  • Ability to operate a computer, phone, and basic office equipment
  • Typing skill is must and able to type fast
  • Excellent and clear communication is mandatory

Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Nursing degree or doctors who has not completed their degree but having good medical knowledge
  • Homeopathy doctors
  • Ayurveda doctors

Roles & Responsibilities

After hours calls support for patient care

  • Attend the calls coming in the soft phone
  • Assess / understand the need of the patient and Triage them accordingly
  • If it is treatable by doctor over the phone, can connect the doctor
  • If it is advisable by the Nurse over the phone, can explain the patient
  • Offer next day appointment based on symptoms
  • Advise the patient to go to ER if the symptoms are worse
  • Follow the client set protocols for this role
