Health, Safety and Environment Leader

Job Description You will be responsible for implementing and sustaining a positive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture across low-complexity site(s) through effective application of the Cummins Management Systems Framework. This role requires strong collaboration, technical capability, and the ability to influence and drive continual improvement. Key Responsibilities - Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure clarity of HSE roles and responsibilities. - Engage employees at all levels by involving them in the development and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures. - Lead hazard identification, environmental aspects evaluation, and risk assessment programs. - Identify compliance gaps and opportunities for strategic HSE improvements. - Lead daily HSE operations including regulatory compliance, incident investigation, and management of change. - Manage contractor safety, emergency preparedness and response, pollution prevention, and sustainability programs. - Use a risk-based and data-driven approach to drive improvements in HSE performance metrics. - Work collaboratively across functions to resolve incidents, non-compliances, and corrective actions. - Coach and develop direct reports or cross-functional team members based on feedback and organizational needs. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. - Degree in Health, Safety, or Environmental discipline preferred. - Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO Auditor) is preferred. - May require licensing in alignment with export control or sanctions regulations.
