Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

• Provide strong academic direction in line with

  ICSE curriculum guidelines

  .
• Ensure effective lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and assessment practices.
  
• Monitor academic performance and initiate improvement strategies where required.
  
• Guide teachers on pedagogy, classroom management, and subject delivery.
  

Administrative & Operational Management

• Oversee day-to-day school operations, ensuring discipline, safety, and compliance.
  
• Coordinate with management, academic coordinators, and support staff.
  
• Ensure proper documentation, records, and adherence to ICSE regulations.
  
• Handle parent concerns professionally and maintain positive school–parent relationships.
  

Staff Management & Development

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
  
• Conduct regular staff meetings, classroom observations, and performance reviews.
  
• Identify training needs and encourage continuous professional development.
  

Student Development & Discipline

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
  
• Support holistic development of students—academic, emotional, and social.
  
• Address student-related concerns in collaboration with teachers and counselors.
  

School Culture & Representation

• Uphold and strengthen the school’s vision, values, and culture.
  
• Represent the school in official meetings, inspections, and ICSE-related interactions.
  
• Lead school events, academic initiatives, and institutional programs.
  

Required Qualifications

• Post Graduate in

  English or Science

  .

• B.Ed / M.Ed

  mandatory.
• Minimum

  8–10 years of teaching experience

  in an

  ICSE school

  , with at least

  3–5 years in a leadership role

  (Headmistress, Senior Coordinator, Academic Head, etc.).
• Thorough knowledge of

  ICSE curriculum, assessment patterns, and compliance norms

  .
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
