Head Warehouse Operations

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Alignment:

- Implement production and quality plans based around customer service standards.

- Develop methods and controls to ensure cross utilization of resources Manpower, Labor, Machine and Space.

- Control cost & efficiency leakages improvement in system by implementing LEAN system methodology

- Conduct periodic business reviews with leadership Team and suggest data-backed improvements.

- Conduct root cause analysis for performance deviations and drive corrective actions.

Operational Efficiency:

- Ensure smooth and efficient Warehouse Operations PAN India while meeting customer SLAs and KPIs.

- Manage customers seasonality & work with sales team to ensure proactive inventory movement

- Ensures regular cycle counts and annual physical audits to maintain physical stock tally system records.

- Implements strong inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies.

- Optimizes warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval.

- Ensures systematic binning and labelling to support accurate enhance operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

1) Experience in 3PL services industry.

2) Must have managed MUFs (> 2.00 Lakh Sq.ft. with multiple customers)

3) 20+ years of experience

4) Ideally would have managed Regional or National role

5) Exposure to commercials/managed Customer Handling role

6) Exposure to multiple industries

Project Implementation:

- Lead Implementation of new projects in TAT with cost-effective methods at best quality.

- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to plan and optimize CAPEX and OPEX for efficient operational budgeting.

- Manages end-to-end project implementation and monitor postgo-live performance for sustained success

- Coordinate with Key accounts and Sales team on escalations and commercial issues with customer.

Required work experience:

1) Experience in 3PL services industry.

2) Must have managed MUFs (> 2.00 Lakh Sqft with multiple customers)

3) 20+ years of experience

4) Ideally would have managed Regional or National role

5) Exposure to commercials/managed Customer Handling role

6) Exposure to multiple industries
