Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing the entire process of managing the Sub-contractors, including selecting them, negotiating with contracts, monitoring their performance and resolving any issues that may arise. Identifying and evaluating potential sub-contractors based on their capabilities, experience and financial stability. Responsible to Manage the drafting, negotiating sub-contract agreements with vendors, ensuring clear terms regarding deliverables, timelines, payment, schedules and risk analysis. Tacking sub-contractor progress against project milestones, identifying potential issues early on, taking corrective actions whenever necessary. Maintaining open communication channels with sub-contractors, addressing concerns promptly and facilitating collaboration between different parties involved in the project. Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with sub-contractors work including quality, schedule delays and financial instability. Manage conflicts if any or disagreements that may arise between the Shipbuilding management and Sub-contractors through negotiation or mediation. Monitor sub-contractor s invoices and ensuring compliance with budget constraints.
