Currently, Attentive.ai is funded by PeakXV (Surge), Infoedge, and Vertex Ventures. We are looking for a dynamic and driven leader to oversee our Sales Development efforts and establish a high-performance outbound engine. Job Description We are in search of a strategic and execution-focused individual to lead and build our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. As the Head of Sales Development, you will spearhead the development and scaling of a top-of-funnel outbound sales engine. Your primary responsibilities will include designing outreach strategies, managing team performance, and driving qualified pipeline growth. This role is pivotal in expanding our presence in the US and Canadian markets, particularly focusing on engaging construction contractors. Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development: Lead and build a team of SDRs dedicated to outbound prospecting. Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and goal setting. Market Targeting & Outreach Strategy: Develop and execute outbound strategies to engage construction contractors in the US and Canada. Create tailored playbooks based on regional nuances and buyer personas. Pipeline Ownership: Take ownership of top-of-funnel performance by generating qualified leads and ensuring a consistent pipeline flow to Account Executives. Outbound Messaging & Enablement: Create and refine impactful messaging that resonates with the target audience. Provide training to SDRs on objection handling, value positioning, and conversation frameworks. Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize data and insights to enhance lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and conversion rates throughout the outbound funnel. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps to enhance Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) definitions, improve lead quality, and ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-up. Reporting & KPIs: Track, analyze, and report on SDR team performance. Key metrics include the number of qualified leads generated and revenue closed from outbound-sourced deals. Requirements 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or sales development, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position. Proven track record of building and scaling outbound SDR teams. In-depth knowledge of outbound sales strategies and tools, with experience targeting North American markets. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach. Excellent communication and team leadership skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with geographically distributed teams. Willingness to work overlapping hours with US time zones.,
