Job Description

Role & responsibilities Arranging an engineer to inspect the sites soon after the inspection of (QA/QC) with reports to ensure the rectifications were done as per Creating awareness among the Engineers and workers, with regard to the importance of good Construction practice by introducing Check list and training programmes at site Designing concrete mixes and making trial mixes at sites according to site conditions in order to produce good quality concrete at low cost. Conducting Random material testing. Introducing new materials and methods after necessary studies. Contractor Validation: Arranging Meeting with Contractor. Visiting their completed and on-going projects Giving briefing to contractor about Skylines expectation from a contractor. Arranging Quality Circle Meeting with Branches. Responsible for assisting GM (civil) in deciding on the kind of construction material that is to be used in the Construction of projects. He has to recommend the usage of Quality materials, after conducting the necessary quality tests. Responsible for standardizing the construction techniques Planning site visits to all branches, such that each site inspected at least twice in month Educating the Site Engineers, about the standard grade of materials that is to be used in construction. Ensuring that the construction practices followed at site match up to the standardized procedures set. Organizing monthly site meetings with the contractors, material suppliers and structural engineers. Random checking and making reports for plants and machinery that is used at sites. Implement & maintain the quality system conforming to ISO 9001 Attending major site complaints and give the necessary technical advice to the concerned engineer. Validation of new contractors and educating them about the skyline standards of work. Assisting the Managements representative in implementing ISO related quality system.
