Senior Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Planning

1. Planning the sequence of work
2. Scheduling the sequence of work as per the set schedule
3. Planning the resources viz., materials and human for the projects
4. Infrastructure planning with regard to the amenities in the project

Execution

1. Checking the drawings as given by the architect
2. Ensuring that the work done at each project is as per the confirmed drawings
3. Ensuring the precision of the setbacks as set down by the PEs
4. Setting targets for PEs and monitoring the same
5. Assessment of the progress of concerned projects on monthly basis against targets fixed

Materials Management

1. Coordinate with projects for material movement and availability
2. Provide assistance in identification and development of suitable vendors for purchases at projects
3. Ensuring that no days work is lost due to want of materials
4. Ensure practice of standardized inventory management and inventory control at projects

Safety

1. Ensure standardized safety norms are being followed in each project under the PEs
2. Timely assistance and reporting in case of any casualty/crisis at the project site
3. Arrangement of periodical safety meetings

Quality Assurance

1. Adhering Standardization of Report from the site
2. No rework and demolition

Leadership

1. Periodical performance review of the Engineering Personnel
2. Trouble shooting of technical problems of the concerned projects
3. Introducing the fellow engineers to new and improved construction practices
4. Identifying training and development needs
5. Any other responsibility that the management shall vest on him/her from time to time as and when required

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / B Tech civil Graduates with minimum 10 years of experience.
