As the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain for a leading global manufacturing organization undergoing strategic realignment and establishing an independent industrial business in India, you will have a rare opportunity to play a crucial role in building a stand-alone company tailored to meet the evolving demands of the automotive sector. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the execution of regional end-to-end (E2E) supply chain and procurement strategies in alignment with global objectives. - Ensure compliance with global frameworks while making independent decisions on region-specific operations. - Oversee supply chain performance metrics encompassing planning, procurement, logistics, and warehousing. - Develop and optimize regional logistics strategies to drive operational excellence. - Serve as a bridge between global and regional teams to facilitate seamless coordination. - Manage risk mitigation plans, address complex supply chain challenges, and uphold operational continuity. - Establish, lead, and empower a high-performing team in India, nurturing a culture of ownership and innovation. **Ideal Profile:** - Possess 17-20 years of total experience, including 5-10 years in leadership roles across procurement, planning, warehousing, and logistics. - Demonstrated expertise in global logistics management, particularly within the automotive industry. - Proficient in logistics tools and performance visualization platforms. - Sound knowledge of international trade regulations, transportation management, and customs compliance. - Effective communicator capable of engaging with senior global stakeholders. - Hold a master's degree in a technical or business discipline (preferred but not mandatory). - Exhibit strong leadership qualities with a proactive problem-solving approach.
