Job Description

To lead the Process Safety Centre of Expertise (CoE) and drive effective implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) across manufacturing units. This role ensures compliance with company's policies and fosters a culture of safety excellence, supporting the ultimate goal of Zero Harm.

Key Responsibilities

Lead deployment of PSM programs across sites with support from the CoE.
Guide and influence site teams to adopt and implement process safety standards.
Plan and drive continuous improvement initiatives in process safety performance.
Manage high-risk processes and provide expert support to manufacturing teams.
Build capability through training and hands-on support in PSM practices.
Track and analyze leading and lagging indicators; drive improvements.
Support assurance programs and audits; escalate critical issues to leadership.
Ensure compliance in new projects and products via company's 7-step lifecycle process.
Drive closure of high-risk actions from safety assessments.
Mentor site safety resources and engineers in PSM principles.
Facilitate incident investigations and implement learnings across units.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure alignment with global standards.
Promote safety culture transformation and support cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors in Chemical Engineering.
18–22 years of experience in high-hazard industries; 12–14 years in process safety.
Expertise in HAZOP, LOPA, QRA, and similar methodologies.
Minimum 5 years as a competent Hazard Study Leader.

Ability to drive change and embed sustainable safety practices.
