Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership

  • Lead day-to-day operations across sourcing, recruiting, onboarding, and client delivery.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
  • Set performance targets (KPIs) for teams, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement.

2. Team Management & Development

  • Manage and mentor teams including recruiters, coordinators, account managers, and support staff.
  • Ensure staff receive ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Support workforce planning for internal staffing needs.

3. Process Optimization

  • Build, implement, and refine operating procedures for full-cycle staffing and recruitment.
  • Optimize ATS usage, workflows, compliance documentation, and reporting processes.
  • Drive automation and technology adoption to streamline operations.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with key clients and hiring managers to understand business needs and ensure service excellence.
  • Oversee client onboarding, support escalations, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support new business opportunities.

5. Data, Metrics & Reporting

  • Track and report KPIs including time-to-fill, placement accuracy, turnover, and recruiter productivity.
  • Use data insights to recommend operational improvements and resource allocation.
  • Present performance reports to senior leadership.

6. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, EEO standards, and company policies.
  • Oversee background checks, onboarding documents, and audit readiness.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies across staffing operations.

7. Financial & Budget Oversight

  • Manage operational budgets, cost control measures, and resource planning.
  • Forecast staffing needs and operational capacity based on business growth.
  • Support pricing models, contract management, and profitability initiatives.

8. Strategic Planning & Growth

  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning for the staffing division.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, new markets, or service lines.
  • Lead change management and organizational development initiatives.
