Head of Sourcing

Role Overview: As the Head of Sourcing Footwear (Kids Wear) at this renowned brand in Bangalore, you will be leading the sourcing operations for kids" footwear. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire process from raw material procurement to finished goods manufacturing. Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize quality, cost, and efficiency will be crucial. Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and compliance with standards will also be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, identifying new sourcing opportunities, enhancing market competitiveness, managing budgets, cost structures, and leading negotiation strategies will all fall under your purview. Additionally, you will be expected to lead and mentor a high-performing sourcing team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead sourcing operations for kids" footwear, covering raw material procurement to finished goods manufacturing - Develop and implement sourcing strategies to enhance quality, cost, and efficiency - Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for timely delivery and compliance with standards - Identify new sourcing opportunities and enhance market competitiveness - Manage budgets, cost structures, and drive negotiation strategies - Lead and mentor a high-performing sourcing team Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in sourcing operations, preferably in the footwear industry - Strong understanding of raw material procurement and manufacturing processes - Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships - Strategic thinking with the ability to optimize quality, cost, and efficiency - Prior experience in managing budgets and cost structures - Leadership capabilities to lead and mentor a sourcing team effectively Please note that the CTC for this position is 40-50 LPA and the location is Bangalore.
