Head Of Retail Merchandising

As a member of the Merchandising team at Lenskart, your role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of the Lenskart promise to consumers. You will be responsible for working closely with the Category teams, Store/Channel teams, and Inventory Planning unit to optimize product assortment and strategic product placement in offline stores. Your strategic business acumen and fashion sensibilities will be key in driving the success of the eyewear platform. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of 12+ to collaborate with category and channel teams on assortment planning for each touch point. - Optimize space/fixture utilization across each touch point to maximize productivity, conversion, and sales. - Drive forecasting and inventory planning for each sales touch point across categories. - Create hyperlocal assortments to ensure optimal product mix for target groups at each touch point. - Manage regular allocation/replenishment of stores based on sales and consumption trends. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the ARS system. - Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure proper product display based on the planogram. - Monitor and enhance merchandise health across touchpoints and channels. - Lead growth initiatives and projects to drive incremental business and conversion.
