As an iNet engineer, you will act as an escalation point for technical issues related to iNet technology platforms. You will collaborate with other infrastructure teams to deliver projects and implement necessary changes in the iNet technology platforms while ensuring the platform's uptime. The iNet team supports various technologies including Firewall Systems (Checkpoint & Fortinet), Global Traffic Managers (F5), Load Balancers (F5 & AVI networks), SSL Accelerators (F5), DNS/DHCP (Infoblox), Proxies (SkyHigh Web Gateway & Bluecoat), and HSM Appliances (Entrust). In this role, your technical environment will involve a proven track record in at least two of the following areas: - Firewalls: Advanced knowledge of firewall platforms, network environments, and operational experience of Fortinet and Checkpoint technologies. - Proxies: Strong familiarity with http and SSL/TLS protocols, and mastery of proxy technology concepts, including operational experience of SkyHigh and Bluecoat technologies. - Load-balancing: Understanding of load-balancing concepts, DNS/GSLB load-balancing, and experience with F5 technology. - DNS/DHCP: Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM concepts, with operational experience of Infoblox technology. - Remote access: Understanding of end-user VPNs protocols, operational knowledge of Cisco ASA/FTD platforms. - Administration: Operational knowledge of monitoring software, protocols, ability to troubleshoot, and develop administration scripts (python, bash, perl), operational experience of Ansible for automation & deployment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Adapting and maintaining standard firewall, load-balancer, proxy, and DDI architectures. - Ensuring accurate documentation for all technology platforms. - Maintaining software and hardware lifecycle management for the described technologies. - Defining and delivering vision and roadmap in collaboration with the head office. - Prioritizing team backlogs based on objectives and workload. - Leading vendor relationships for owned technologies. - Interacting with stakeholders to understand security needs and expectations. - Properly monitoring all systems, managing alerts, and keeping asset referential up to date. The expected profile for this role includes: - 8+ years of hands-on field experience in iNet technical scope. - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-stress incident situations. - Demonstrated leadership experience with large, complex programs. - Seasoned technology leader with rich experience in leading engineering teams. - Fluency in oral and written English.,
