Head of CDD Technology

As the Head of CDD Technology at HSBC, you will lead the design, implementation, and modernization of CDD / KYC Technology. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the modernization of the bank-wide KYC & CDD proposition through the delivery of the Future State Architecture (FSA) to support various client segments. - Being accountable for the execution and delivery of innovative technology solutions across CDD Technology, ensuring alignment with business outcomes. - Engaging closely with CIB and iWPB business to provide cutting-edge technology support and enablement in line with the global strategy. - Ensuring achievement of CDD Technology OKRs and supporting wider department OKRs, focusing on engineering best practices, service resiliency, talent initiatives, and emerging technologies. - Managing the global budget and headcount for CDD technology, providing transparency on technology costs and influencing cost drivers. To succeed in this role, you will need: - Financial services experience with a deep understanding of the industry and marketplace. - Leadership breadth, with cross-functional experience and strong critical thinking abilities. - Experience in delivering complex transformational change regionally and globally. - Operational resilience to adapt and operate through disruptive change. - Effective leadership and management skills, including building high-performing teams and working ethically. - Strong interpersonal skills to work across organizations at all levels. - Hands-on experience with complex domains and technology stacks, including API technologies and emerging technologies like AI at scale.
