About the role
   The Head of AI Strategy and Integration will define and lead QCIC s global AI transformation agenda. This senior, cross-functional role is responsible for setting our strategic direction on GenAI, Intelligent automation and data-powered operations. You will guide the implementation of AI solutions across the business, delivering meaningful process improvements, with an keen eye on AI governance. 
  
What you will do
   -  Lead the design development and deployment of AI powered business workflows using the latest LLMs, agents and intelligent automation tools 
-  Guide AI governance, ethical use, and standardisation across all AI-enabled solutions 
-  Support business units by training staff and promoting the effective use of AI tools in daily operations. 
-  Stay current on the latest AI developments (releases, tooling, methodologies) and recommend relevant applications that could in improve all areas of the business. 
-  Supervise, mentor, and support a small but growing AI engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and driving improvements across the business. 
-  Engage in hands-on development as required, building prototypes and working solutions for internal stakeholders 
-  Work alongside our Power Platform team to enhance advance model-driven app solutions and Business Reporting using AI capabilities 
-  Contribute to long-term planning, vendor evaluations, and strategy for scalable and secure AI adoption 
-  Match the business needs with Industry standards on governance like ISO 27001 to allow the business to remain compliant. 
-  Collaborate with global colleagues across time zones, some flexibility will be required 
 
What we are looking for
   -  Deep understanding of generative AI, LLMs and agent frameworks. 
-  Track record in designing, building and deploying AI-enabled workflows and solutions. 
-  Hands on experience developing workflows and using Microsoft s Power Platform. 
-  Experience of implementing AI solutions with the ISO 27001 is desirable (not audit level). 
-  Experience designing and implementing AI solutions with CRM Systems is desirable. 
-  Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and mentor technical teams. 
-  Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present AI capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
-  Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment 
-  Practical experience with up to date tools and platforms e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Open AI etc 
 
Experience
   -  Very strong organisational skills 
-  10+ years in a technical role, including 5+ years building AI/ML powered workflows and automation solutions 
-  Leadership or team lead experience, particularly within AI Innovation 
-  Hands-on experience with Azure AI, Open AI Apis, Copilot MLOps and Cloud-native data engineering 
-  Experience working across departments and coaching non-technical stakeholders 
-  Experience with Azure OpenAI studio or Similar enterprise AI environments 
-  Exposure to model-driven apps and Dataverse integration 
-  Working knowledge Microsoft Power platform suites 
-  Experience contributing to AI/ML strategy at an organisational level 
-  Awareness of AI safety, compliance and ethical frameworks 
-  PowerShell scripting, SQL Query creations. Power platform workflow creation 
-  User rollout of cloud based IT solutions

-  Flexibility with working hours due to the nature of the role
