Head Mineral Beneficiation

As a professional with over 20 years of experience and a PhD in Mineral Beneficiation, you will be responsible for developing short- and long-term business strategies focused on the economic use of minerals at mines through beneficiation. This includes creating process flowsheets for mineral beneficiation to enhance enrichment and value addition. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting feasibility studies to ensure the optimal utilization of minerals with a strong emphasis on economic viability. In this role, you will also be accountable for tailing/rejects management and developing disposal plans in accordance with statutory provisions. Your responsibilities will extend to supporting decision-making processes for the acquisition of mineral blocks and collaborating closely with global R&D teams and scientific research institutes to advance minerology and ore characterization studies. A key challenge you will face is studying the mineral characteristics of mines, both greenfield and brownfield, and recommending the most suitable mineral processing and beneficiation processes to maximize the utilization of mineral resources while enhancing enrichment and value addition. You will be expected to develop cost-effective process parameters, innovative solutions, and strategies to minimize rejects while maximizing recovery to meet captive requirements. Continuous improvement in the process flow will be essential to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your functional skills must include a proven track record of leading mineral characterization studies and research, as well as developing customized processes to optimize mineral beneficiation. Additionally, your background in research and development from reputable institutes will be invaluable in this role.
