Head Micro Assets

As the Head of Micro Assets at a scheduled commercial bank, your role is crucial in leading and managing the Micro Assets business to drive sustainable growth and deepen financial inclusion. You will be responsible for developing business strategies, managing credit and portfolio, driving product innovation, leading a team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the overall strategy for the Micro Assets business. - Achieve disbursement, portfolio outstanding, and fee income targets. - Expand the Micro Assets portfolio into new geographies and customer segments. - Build strategic partnerships with NGOs, SHGs, and community-based organizations. - Drive credit underwriting policies and monitor portfolio quality. - Implement early warning systems and collection strategies. - Develop new microfinance products and enhance customer processes. - Lead a large team and drive capability-building programs. - Ensure strict adherence to RBI regulations and maintain governance practices. - Work closely with various internal teams and represent the Micro Assets vertical. Qualifications Required: - Post-Graduate Degree in Management/Finance/Rural Management/Social Work. - Certifications in Microfinance/Risk Management preferred. - Minimum 15-18 years of experience in financial services. - At least 7-10 years in leadership roles in microfinance or retail lending. - Skills in business acumen, credit expertise, leadership, analytical thinking, process orientation, customer centricity, compliance focus, and communication.
