Position: Head Maintenance

Exp: 10+ years

Location: Tirupati

• Lead, plan, and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all plant machinery, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Ensure maximum uptime of production equipment and utilities (DG sets, compressors, HVAC, power distribution, etc.).
• Develop and monitor annual maintenance budgets, cost reduction plans, and spares management.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.
• Implement modern maintenance practices (TPM, RCM, Kaizen, 5S, Lean Maintenance).
• Coordinate with production, quality, and projects teams for smooth operations and equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including safety, health, and environmental norms.
• Guide and mentor the maintenance team, fostering skill development and high performance
• Plan and execute installation and commissioning of new machinery or technology upgrades.
• Develop vendors for spares, services, and AMC contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive digitalization in maintenance (CMMS, IoT-enabled monitoring, predictive analytics).
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems in manufacturing.
• Hands-on expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, CNC, and utility systems.
• Proficiency in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Reliability Engineering.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Exposure to IATF/ISO systems, EHS, and statutory compliance.
  

Qualification & Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering (mandatory).
• 15 to 20 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in automotive/auto-component/engineering industries.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior managerial or head role.
• Experience in greenfield/brownfield project execution will be an added advantage.
