Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead corporate secretarial functions, Board/Audit Committee meetings, ROC filings, and governance compliance.
Drive legal strategy for M&A, demergers, due diligence, and new entity incorporations.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts across all business units.
Oversee litigation management, court matters, and coordination with external legal counsel.
Handle IPR, trademark protection, and infringement actions.
Lead regulatory compliance under Companies Act, Labour Laws, Factories Act, environmental and DoT laws.
Oversee Code of Conduct, anti-corruption, competition law, POSH and whistle-blower compliance.
Act as the focal legal contact for Volvo Group India and collaborate with global legal teams.
Support internal investigations, policies, insurance, land matters, and cross-functional legal advisory.
