Head - Fire & Safety

We are hiring for Head - Fire & Safety - Administration role. Location - Mumbai Qualification - * Bachelors degree /BE / BTech in any technical stream * Advance Diploma in Fire Safety Engineering from (University / State Board of Technical Education/ Reginal or Central Labour Institutes) * Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized institute ((University / State Board of Technical Education/ Reginal or Central Labour Institutes) Role & responsibilities Compliance - 1. Interpret and enforce provisions of the National Building Code and various Fire Prevention and Life Safety Act as per amendments in state/ site/ Region 2. Quarterly Fire Safety Dashboard & board notes to top management 3. Plan and ensure periodic walk throughs / safety inspections of Hubs & Offices / Currency Chest / Property Vaults across the country 4. Ensure that Fire NOCs are renewed for all the CC by respective regions and provide support in case of documentation Policy & Framework Development - 1. Suggesting amendment in the admin manual / develop a SOPs / process notes whenever required 2. Work closely for establishing, managing, and monitoring the standards and processes for Fire prevention & Life Safety in the organization AMC Management - 1. Coordinate with Zonal/Regional Facilities and Administration department for rectification action in case of un-serviceability of Fire & Life Safety Systems of the Offices/Branches/Units 2. Checking of Fire Fighting equipment's' AMC, Service Notes, and their testing record maintained by the region and coordinate with regional team for completion of the same Audits - 1. Ensure the compliances of fire evacuation drills from internal stakeholders 2. Identify the training agency who can implement the organisation fire and safety goals via different training modules across India (Offline / Online platforms) 3. Ensure the specialized trainings First aid, Firefighting, Evacuation & rescue trainings for FAs and implementation of trainings suggested by ESG team for FAs 4. Generate & maintain the report of trainings Project & Other Stakeholder Management - Operational Risk Management Department (ORMD) 1. Ensure the development of departmental risk register and submit to ORMD team 2. Ensure the KRI & related SOP submission to ORMD team Business Continuity Management (BCM) 1. Data submission for Business Continuity Steering Committee meeting on quarterly basis 2. Ensure departmental crisis management in case of any emergency scenario 3. Ensure completion and implementation of BCM goals in branches / Hubs / CC etc. 4. Ensure updatation of Banks Emergency Response Plan (ERP) 5. Ensure completion and submission of department Business Impact Assessment (BIA) & Functional recovery plan (FRP) 6. Ensure submission to RBI against 344 & 345 (Submission of admin processes for which automation is not possible) Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) 1. Ensure submission of departmental data for completion of BRSR reporting 2. Update the SOPs / Policies of ESG department with FH sign off for internal / external audit purpose 3. Manage IGBC / ECBC related projects to ensure the ensure the completion of ESG goals Branch Operations Transformation and Control (BOTC) 1. Ensure support the BOTC team for branches fire safety audits as per suggested criteria through the third-party auditors 2. Ensure support for branches to enhance the vault safety / CERMO requirement Retail Assets (RA) 1. Ensure the support for completion of property vaults fire and safety audits through the third party 2. Ensure support to enhance the active and passive fire safety of the vaults (maintenance / installation of suppression System etc.)
