We are seeking a talented and adaptable North/South Indian Vegetarian Chef to join our team. ** Collaborate with the cafe management to develop and refine dishes, incorporating customer feedback and culinary trends. ** Participate in menu planning sessions to innovate and enhance the cafe's offerings. ** Conduct regular quality checks on both ingredients and dishes to ensure they meet the required standards. ** Ensure efficient operation of the kitchen during service, maintaining high standards for speed and quality. ** Organize and manage the workflow to maximize productivity without compromising on the quality of food. * Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure they meet the high standards expected. * Manage inventory for the kitchen, ensuring sufficient supplies while minimizing waste. * Coordinate with suppliers to source the best quality plant based ingredients at cost effective prices. * Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen , adhering to food hygiene regulation. Requirements: * Culinary diploma or relevant training is a plus. * Previous experience as a chef, preferably in a vegan/Vegetarian setting. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Language : Malayalam/English/Hindi/Tamil Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Experience: total work: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 01/07/2025
