Job Description

1. Must have good sound knowledge on JCL, ISPF, DB2, SQL, CLIST, CICS TS, IMS and REXX. 2. Should have experience working on DB2 database. 3. Should understand the functional, system and business requirements. 4. Should be able to perform mainframe backend testing by executing SQL queries. 5. Should have basic knowledge on automated testing. 6. Should be willing to work on test automation on mainframe 7. Some basic knowledge on Java would be an added advantage. 8. Experience with modern agile methodologies such as SCRUM is preferable. 9. Should have experience on performing smoke, functional, regression and user acceptance test on mainframe and web applications. 10. Basic knowledge on use of JIRA is preferable. 11. Basic knowledge on Cobol, PL/X, z/OS System Administration, SMP/E - is added advantage Basic Qualifications Minimum B.Tech / B.E in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical field Job role involves: • To perform testing and diagnosis for mainframe products. • Should be able to develop, test and debug batch jobs (JCL) for testing • Should develop Test Plans and Test Cases for different types of software product testing • Should use Jira effectively to document the test results and report the bugs. • Should be able to work using test automation on both mainframe and Web platforms Send resume to: mounika-d@hcl.software
