Harness Design Engineer - Electrical

You will be responsible for designing the power train for the Robot Controller Box and the wiring harness for the Robotic Arm. Your tasks will include performing hand calculations to select suitable wire gauge, conducting power calculations, and heat loss calculations for the selected wires. Additionally, you will need to create detailed 2D and 3D wire diagrams, identify appropriate connectors, and select the necessary crimping tools. Establishing cable assembly procedures and executing cable crimping using the specified tools will also be part of your role. Furthermore, active participation in discussions with cross-functional team members is essential to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.Tech/B.E degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and possess at least 3 years of experience in wiring harness design and development. Expertise in CREO software and proficiency in interpreting 2D and 3D CAD drawings are also essential for this role.
