Hardware & Network Engineer

As a Hardware and Networking Engineer at VICOM Security Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining CCTV systems, including IP, bullet, and dome cameras, NVRs, and PoE switches. You will also be responsible for setting up and maintaining Public Address systems for clear voice communication and emergency announcements. Additionally, you will integrate CCTV and PA systems with plant communication infrastructure at NTPC Rihand. Your duties will involve executing routine troubleshooting, spares replacement, cable management, and hardware repairs. Collaboration with senior engineers during Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning (SITC) phases and maintaining accurate logs and site documentation will be essential. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV systems (IP/bullet/dome cameras, NVRs, PoE switches). - Set up and maintain Public Address systems for clear voice communication and emergency announcements. - Integrate CCTV & PA with plant communication infrastructure at NTPC Rihand. - Execute routine troubleshooting, spares replacement, cable management, and hardware repairs. - Collaborate with senior engineers during SITC & AMC phases. - Maintain accurate logs, as-built drawings, and site documentation. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Hardware & Networking, Electronics, or related field. - Solid understanding of CCTV components (IP cameras, NVRs, PoE switches). - Basic knowledge of PA systems and audio wiring. - Familiarity with network fundamentals (IP subnetting, switch/router configuration). - Ability to work at heights and in industrial/power plant settings. - Clear communication skills and willingness to be posted at NTPC Rihand.
