Hardware & Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer, your primary objective is to establish and uphold a robust and effective network infrastructure. Collaborating with fellow IT professionals, you will evaluate the organization's requirements and implement solutions to ensure a secure and reliable network. Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting network issues, enhancing hardware and software, and staying updated on industry advancements to propose enhancements. You will be accountable for designing and deploying network configurations, evaluating and choosing suitable hardware and software solutions, monitoring network performance to ensure optimal functionality, conducting regular maintenance and upgrades to prevent downtime and security risks, promptly addressing network malfunctions, providing technical support to end-users, and cooperating with other IT departments to resolve issues effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation on network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting methods, and collaborating with system administrators and security experts to sustain a unified IT environment. The ideal candidate for this role must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies, familiarity with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls), and certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities for seamless collaboration and user support, are crucial for success in this position. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring on-site work experience.
