Description

Roles and responsibility

• Develop and implement hardware components and systems, including schematics and PCB layouts. Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware designs, resolving any issues that arise.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration with software and firmware.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for hardware designs, specifications, and test plans.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in hardware design methodologies.
• Manage inventory, overseeing procurement and tracking of hardware components. Engage in discussions and negotiations with manufacturers and distributors. Facilitate the procurement process for Bill of Materials (BOM) components.
  

Qualification required

• Excellent knowledge in Microcontroller/ Microprocessor based hardware design and associated subsystems such as the power supply, I / O interfaces and communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C.
• PCB Stackup, Vias and Rules Structure Design.
• Basic RF Design Concepts and working.
• Designing most Power efficient systems.
• Block level Architecture design.
• Managing inventory and good TH and SMD soldering experience.
• Component selection and validation.
• Extensive verification of designs.
• Should know how to use Basic lab equipment.
• Good organizational skills.
• Should be able to multitask on multiple development projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
