Job Description

As a Hardware Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing efficient and scalable hardware systems that seamlessly integrate with software and firmware components. Your responsibilities will include: Responsibilities: - Design and architect hardware systems and components. - Collaborate with software and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration. - Develop and document hardware specifications and standards. - Lead and manage hardware design projects from concept to production. - Perform simulations, testing, and validation of hardware components. - Analyze and optimize system performance and reliability. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in hardware design. Roles & Responsibilities: - Define and lead the hardware architecture strategy for complex systems, including SoCs, embedded platforms, and high-performance computing devices. - Collaborate with product management, software, and mechanical teams to translate business requirements into scalable hardware solutions. - Oversee the full hardware development lifecycle from concept to production. - Evaluate emerging technologies and guide make/buy decisions. - Lead architectural reviews, risk assessments, and design validation processes. - Mentor and guide senior and junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence. - Contribute to IP strategy, patent filings, and technical publications. - Represent the hardware team in executive-level discussions and strategic planning. Qualifications Required: - Proven track record in designing and delivering complex hardware systems (e.g., SoCs, FPGAs, ASICs, high-speed boards). - Experience with industry-standard tools for simulation, modeling, and verification such as Cadence Allegro, Altium, LT Spice, Tina, BQR Reliability Tool, and Web-Bench. - Proficiency in Communication Protocols including Industrial Protocols like MODBUS, EtherCAT, EthernetIP, Profinet, and PROFIsafe, CIP safety, and interfaces like UART, RS232, RS485, RS422, I2C, SPI, and QSPI.
