Role and Responsibilities:
He needs to install, maintain, and secure the University’s network hardware and software systems to ensure reliable operation and performance.
Key duties include configuring routers, switches, and firewalls; monitoring network traffic; performing hardware and software upgrades; troubleshooting network issues; managing user access and permissions; and performing data backups and disaster recovery. They are responsible for the overall health and stability of the network infrastructure, supporting users, and often maintaining system documentation.
