Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assist the Halwai in preparation of Indian sweets, snacks, and desserts as per standard recipes and quality requirements.
Ensure proper mixing, shaping, frying, and finishing of sweets under supervision.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area at all times.
Follow food safety standards and ensure freshness of ingredients.
Support in inventory management checking raw materials, minimizing wastage, and reporting shortages.
Assist in festive or bulk sweet production as per operational requirements.
Adhere to kitchen discipline, uniform, and company hygiene protocols.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 13 years of experience as Halwai/Commi in reputed hotels, restaurants, or sweet production units.
Basic knowledge of traditional Indian sweets and snack preparations.
Should be disciplined, punctual, and maintain good personal hygiene.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from senior Halwai/Chef.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including festive or special event timings.
Physically fit and capable of handling hot kitchen environments.
