Role: Guidewire Portal Frontend Developer (React JS) Location: Mumbai/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Kolkata Experience: 6 - 14 years Job Summary: The GW Portal Frontend Developer is responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly web interfaces for the Guidewire Portal using React JS. This role focuses on creating responsive and dynamic web applications that align with business requirements and provide an excellent user experience. Key Responsibilities: Frontend Development: Develop and maintain web applications using React JS, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Implement new features and functionalities based on business requirements and user feedback. Collaborative Design: Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into functional web components. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic. Code Quality and Optimization: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality and performance. Work with QA teams to resolve any issues and improve application quality. Documentation: Prepare technical documentation for frontend components and development processes. Maintain documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest React JS features and frontend development trends. Identify opportunities to improve user experience and application performance. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in frontend development using React JS. Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend development frameworks. Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Guidewire software and insurance industry processes. Experience with other frontend frameworks or libraries such as Angular or Vue.js. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services. Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
