Guidewire Developer

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions in

  Guidewire BillingCenter

  , and contribute to

  PC/CC

  as needed.
• Perform

  Guidewire Configuration and Integration

  using Gosu programming language.
• Develop plug-ins, web services, and integration points with external systems (e.g., payment gateways, third-party APIs).
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA testers, and other developers across the SDLC.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and defect fixing.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance tuning, and security best practices.
  

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong experience with

  Guidewire BillingCenter

  (mandatory minimum 2 projects).
• proficient in

  Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter

  (preferred).
• Hands-on experience in

  Gosu programming language

• Deep understanding of Guidewire

  Configuration

  and

  Integration

  development.
• Knowledge of

  Guidewire Studio

  ,

  GUnit

  , and

  Data Model Extensions

  .
• Web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON, API integrations.
• Experience with

  Guidewire Cloud

  or

  On-prem

  implementation
• Source control (Git, SVN) and CI/CD practices.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Guidewire

  Certified Developer Associate

  or

  ACE Certification

  (BillingCenter preferred).
• Experience in Agile environments using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of P&C insurance domain processes.
