Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service consistent with hotel policies to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. You should be entirely flexible and willing to be rotated within different sub-departments of the Rooms division or other departments as necessary. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that guests receive personalized service at all times, reporting guest complaints or problems to supervisors when immediate solutions are not available, and ensuring proper follow-up with guests. It is crucial to be aware of hotel activities, conduct proper handovers for pending points, and take necessary actions for the next shifts. You must familiarize yourself with all hotel services, facilities, and promotions, and be knowledgeable about upselling techniques. Balancing the cash report and remittance envelop at the end of your shift, performing opening and closing procedures, and ensuring that the Assistant Manager Front Office signs all rebates and paid out vouchers with clear explanations are essential tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking and updating room allocations, following up on special requirements requested by guests, and maintaining regular contact with long-stay and suite guests to enhance their experience. Maintaining high standards of grooming and hygiene, fostering good relationships with colleagues and other departments, and providing full support to Supervisors and team members are general responsibilities expected of you. You should be prepared to take on any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned. To qualify for this role, you must welcome all guests warmly, ensuring they have an exceptional stay, create lasting memories, and build relationships. Ideally, you should hold a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management and have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in hotel operations. Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.,
