Job Description

As a Guest Service Associate in the Food & Beverage department, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences through prompt and courteous service. You will assist in the smooth operation of the F&B outlets, maintaining cleanliness, and providing knowledgeable assistance to guests regarding menu items and services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival at the F&B outlets.
  2. Seat guests and provide them with menus in a timely manner.
  3. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
  4. Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system promptly.
  5. Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
  6. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly and courteously to any complaints or concerns.
  7. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining areas, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations.
  8. Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after service.
  9. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, events, and special offers within the F&B outlets.
  10. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, following established procedures.
  11. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
  12. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  13. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager or supervisory staff.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors in hospitality management is preferred
  2. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  5. Excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
  6. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
  7. Knowledge of food and beverage products, including ingredients and preparation methods, is desirable.
  8. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  9. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
  10. Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
