As an experienced professional joining the HSBC Global Trade Service (GTS) team, your role will involve consultative selling, implementing, and managing GTS products for customers and prospects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing new revenue streams by identifying and selling innovative GTS solutions to maximize commercial profitability and relationship depth - Driving best practices in lending and risk policies while managing a client portfolio to maintain existing income and generate new business - Developing effective strategies for maintaining and growing a client portfolio, including sector planning and client monitoring - Working closely with colleagues to promote awareness of GTS products, strategies, and competitor information - Maintaining awareness of regulatory and business environment changes affecting customers and the bank - Designing and implementing workable, innovative solutions for customer needs through consultative selling - Maintaining and enhancing the image of HSBC through various events and industry associations - Keeping management informed of progress towards sales targets and ensuring compliance with HSBC and regulatory standards Qualifications Required: - Extensive knowledge of global trade, receivables finance, market trends, and regulatory environment - Detailed understanding of GTS back and front-office areas, credit, and risk management - Sales and client management experience at a senior level with a proven track record - Strong credit assessment skills and ability to deliver creative customer solutions - Good business acumen, commercial awareness, and interpersonal skills - Excellent time management, planning, organization, and communication skills - Ability to interact with business customers at all levels and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Desirable Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree - GTS related industry qualifications Additional Information: - Mandatory completion of Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training - HSBC values all employees, fosters continuous professional development, and offers opportunities for growth within an inclusive and diverse environment Personal data relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with HSBC's Privacy Statement.
