Software Engineers:

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure server-side containers:

• Set up and manage server-side GTM containers, including tags, triggers, and variables.

• Develop and maintain server-side code:

• Write custom code or libraries to prepare and send data to the server container.
• Create and configure GTM server-side containers to manage and execute tags on the server.

• Manage data collection and processing:

• Design and implement data collection logic, including data validation, enrichment, and transformation on the server.

• Integrate server-side tagging with other platforms:

• Connect the server-side system with various marketing, analytics, and advertising platforms.
• Connect server-side containers with client-side tracking codes, analytics platforms, and other data sources.

• Optimize data flow and processing:

• Ensure data is processed correctly, normalized, and sent to the appropriate destinations

• Optimize performance and scalability:

• Ensure the server-side setup can handle high volumes of data and requests efficiently.

• Ensure data privacy and compliance:

• Implement measures to protect sensitive data and comply with relevant regulations.

• Troubleshoot and maintain server-side infrastructure:

• Monitor server performance, address issues, and maintain the stability of the server-side environment.

• Collaborate with other teams:

• Work with marketing, analytics, and development teams to understand their needs and integrate server-side tagging solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills:

  Proficiency in server-side languages like Java, Python, or Node.js.

• Data Structures and Algorithms:

  Understanding of data structures and algorithms to process and manipulate data effectively.

• Server-Side Technologies:

  Knowledge of server-side technologies such as web servers, databases, and APIs.

• Experience with web technologies:

  Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and other web-related technologies.

• Knowledge of data formats:

  Familiarity with JSON, XML, and other data interchange formats.

• Understanding of server-side tagging principles:

  Familiarity with the benefits and challenges of server-side tagging.

• Familiarity with cloud computing:

  Experience with cloud platforms like GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or AWS.

• Good problem-solving skills:

  Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills:

  Ability to effectively communicate with different teams and stakeholders.

• Experience with data privacy regulations:

  Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
