GST Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced GST Accountant to manage and oversee all GST-related activities of the company. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate filing, compliance, and maintenance of financial records in line with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
• Reconcile GST input and output data with purchase and sales registers.
• Verify invoices, bills, and other documents for GST compliance.
• Maintain records of all tax-related transactions, credit notes, and debit notes.
• Coordinate with vendors and franchisees to collect proper GST documents.
• Assist in GST audits, notices, and department queries.
• Monitor input tax credit (ITC) utilization and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with TDS, TCS, and other tax regulations if applicable.
• Support the accounts team in monthly closing, ledger scrutiny, and financial reporting.
• Keep updated with latest GST rules, amendments, and notifications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a GST Accountant / Tax Executive / Accounts Assistant.
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, return filing procedures, and compliance deadlines.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and accounting principles.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Ability to handle multiple branches/franchise accounts if required.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in GST accounting.
• Experience in F&B, retail, or franchise-based business preferred.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
