A Service Desk Analyst is a customer service professional responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users. The job responsibilities of a Service Desk Analyst may include : 1. Answering phone calls, emails, and chats from end-users, and logging technical issues and service requests in a helpdesk system. 2. Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving issues or escalating to higher-level support personnel as needed. 3. Performing remote diagnostic tests and providing guidance on how to fix common technical problems. 4. Documenting troubleshooting steps, incident details, and resolutions in a helpdesk ticketing system. 5. Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software applications for end-users. 6. Identifying and communicating trends in support requests to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the helpdesk function.
