Group fixed asset accountant

As a member of the Apex Group, your role will involve supporting the Group Entity Accounting Manager in various financial activities. You will play a crucial part in producing monthly management accounts and ensuring a smooth month-end close process for group entities. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparation and posting of monthly journals - Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register - Analyzing revenue and determining revenue accruals - Balancing intercompany loan accounts - Analyzing trial balance and general ledger with necessary corrections - Conducting balance sheet reconciliations - Performing tax computations and related journal entries - Preparing management accounts and annual financial statements - Providing information for statutory audits - Addressing queries from internal departments and external parties To excel in this role, you are expected to have the following qualifications and skills: - Recently qualified (CA, ACCA or similar) - Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles - Strong foundation in MS Excel/PowerPoint - Solid understanding of IFRS and regional GAAP differences - Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively - Clear organization skills and the capability to articulate complex issues concisely - Workday experience would be advantageous - Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail In return, you can expect: - A unique opportunity to be part of a growing global business - Exposure to various aspects of the business and working closely with senior management - Being a valued member of a friendly, open, and hardworking team Please note that unsolicited CVs from recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position at Apex Group.
