Group Accounting & Reporting Specialist

Role Overview: Join the Group Accounting team at medmix to enhance the financial data in alignment with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for both internal and external distribution. The Group Accounting team is spread across Switzerland and India, with the Indian team operating under Haselmeier India Private Limited in Bangalore. As a member of this team, you will directly report to the Consolidation and Reporting Manager based in Switzerland. Key Responsibilities: - Actively participate in the monthly group financial closing, consolidation, and reporting process - Conduct sanity checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of financial data reported across the group - Play a key role in preparing and reviewing internal management reports, as well as external half-year and annual reports - Maintain and improve CCH Tagetik (group reporting and consolidation tool) - Assist legal entities and stakeholders with accounting, reporting queries, and monthly reporting questions - Contribute to updates of the medmix accounting manual in compliance with business and IFRS requirements - Evaluate annual IFRS changes and assist in implementing new requirements - Manage the medmix Delegation of Authority (DOA) and oversee the implementation of changes - Support various international projects and handle ad-hoc requests Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant or ACCA, CPA, focusing on accounting and/or IT - Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a publicly listed company - Thorough theoretical and practical understanding of accounting and reporting as per IFRS - Proficiency in CCH Tagetik and/or other group reporting and consolidation tools - Strong IT skills with a particular emphasis on Excel and project management - Proactive and analytical approach with keen attention to detail - Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, and fluency in English (both written and verbal) (Note: Additional details of the company were not provided in the job description),
