Group Accounting & Reporting Specialist

Role Overview: Join the Group Accounting team at medmix and contribute to elevating the financial data in alignment with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for internal and external distribution. The team operates from Switzerland and India, with the Indian team located in Bangalore under the legal entity Haselmeier India Private Limited. Reporting directly to the Consolidation and Reporting Manager in Switzerland, this role offers a significant opportunity to enhance financial processes within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Actively participate in the monthly group financial closing, consolidation, and reporting procedures - Conduct sanity checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of financial data reported across the group - Play a crucial role in preparing and reviewing internal management reports, as well as external half-year and annual reports - Maintain and improve CCH Tagetik (group reporting and consolidation tool) - Assist legal entities and stakeholders with accounting, reporting inquiries, and monthly reporting concerns - Support updates of the medmix accounting manual in compliance with business and IFRS requirements - Evaluate annual IFRS changes and aid in implementing new standards - Manage the medmix Delegation of Authority (DOA) and oversee the implementation of changes - Contribute to various international projects and handle ad-hoc requests Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant or ACCA, CPA, with a focus on accounting and/or IT - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a publicly listed company - Strong theoretical and practical understanding of accounting and reporting in accordance with IFRS - Proficiency in CCH Tagetik and/or other group reporting and consolidation tools - High IT proficiency, particularly in Excel, and experience in project management - Proactive and analytical approach with keen attention to detail - Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and fluency in English (written and verbal) (Note: Omitted Additional Information section as it was not provided in the job description),
