Graphics Performance Modelling Senior Engineer

As a Systems Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be joining the Engineering Group to analyze and evaluate GPU architecture and microarchitecture for optimizing performance and power consumption. Your responsibilities will include GPU power modeling, workload analysis, and developing tests for pre-silicon and post-silicon power verifications. You will work closely with RTL designers, architects, verification specialists, compilers, drivers, silicon implementation teams, and post-silicon teams. Knowledge of Graphics architecture is considered advantageous for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and evaluate GPU architecture and microarchitecture - Optimize performance and power consumption - Perform GPU power modeling and workload analysis - Develop tests for pre-silicon and post-silicon power verifications - Collaborate with various teams including RTL designers, architects, and silicon implementation teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field - 2+ years of experience in ASIC design and verification, and low-power ASIC optimization OR - Master's or PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications: - Master's or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field - Minimum 3 years of experience in advanced CPU/GPU architecture and microarchitecture design development - Experience in VLSI design and verification, and low-power ASIC design techniques - Familiarity with industry tools like PrimeTime PX and Power Artist - Proficiency in Vulkan, DirectX3D, OpenGL, OpenCL, or Cuda development - Knowledge of GPU driver and compiler development - Skills in C/C++ Programming Language, Scripting (Python/Perl), Assembly, Verilog/SystemVerilog, and Design Verification Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer that provides accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
