Graphic Designer / Video Editor

You will be responsible for shooting original video footage to create dynamic and engaging content. Your role will involve editing videos using a crisp, fast-paced style with a strong hook, punch, and retain structure. Additionally, you will create, design, and edit static assets such as graphics and ad statics for social and digital platforms. Your expertise in adding motion graphics, on-screen text, and smooth transitions will bring stories to life and enhance the viewing experience. Collaboration with writers, voiceover artists, and content strategists will be essential to transform big ideas into captivating content. You will adapt edits to different platforms, ensuring the best pacing, retention tactics, and formats for each one. Managing the post-production process, including tasks like color correction, sound design, and final cut polishing, will also be part of your responsibilities. Tracking and incorporating trends in video formats, editing styles, and social-first storytelling will be crucial to your role. Furthermore, creating and curating content that aligns with our digital site and social media presence will be a key aspect of your job. Proofreading or editing other content (video, graphics, copy) before it goes live and reviewing live content monthly to deliver clear reports on performance and success rates will also be part of your tasks. Ideally, you should have at least 2 years of experience in editing digital videos for various channels such as Reels, YouTube, and websites. Proficiency in Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, along with a deep understanding of their features, is required. Additionally, you should be proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator for creating and editing visuals that complement video content. Ability to handle motion graphics (After Effects or similar) is a plus. A thorough understanding of pacing, rhythm, and viewer retention is essential for this role. You should have a sharp eye for detail and strong content instincts to keep viewers engaged. The ability to take feedback constructively and deliver edits promptly is crucial. Experience working with nutraceutical brands would be a bonus.
